Hey, I’m Carolyn.
I help women professionals who feel uninspired and bored with their daily grind find fulfillment and happiness in their work without ever sacrificing wealth.
As the eldest daughter of immigrants, I used to overthink everything, especially with my career choices. Like many others in their community, my family passed down a fear-based decision-making mentality because we had few resources and little to fall back on. So when I finally discovered techniques to manage my indecisiveness, it helped me land my dream corporate job THREE times, secure 50+ interviews and 25+ job offers (many of which I’ve declined), and make multi-six-figure salaries while aligning with my lifestyle each time.
After 15+ years in sales leadership and building high-growth, early-stage startups such as Yelp and ClassPass, I started Wildlight in 2021. Since then, I’ve helped more than 150 professionals land new jobs and secure over $1 million collectively in additional pay. Most importantly, I help my clients take ownership of their desires and values by designing a career and life they truly want.
Originally from Oakland, I spent a decade in Brooklyn, and now live, eat, and adventure around Portland with my partner Nate and two little girls.

FAQs
Can I be a part of the program if I don’t identify as a woman or 1st/2nd gen?
All are welcome. I've designed all of my programs through the lens of a woman professional, 1st-gen graduate, 2nd-gen immigrant perspective in mind. While my programs are inclusive to everyone, I’ve worked hard to create a safe space for these groups, so the only ask is that this is acknowledged when signing up and being a part of it!
What I can’t make it every session?
Every session will be recorded and available for replay. You can submit any questions or challenges before any call you know you’ll miss. I’ll also be following up in Slack to see how you can be supported.
Will this work for me?
I’ve helped more than 150 people land new roles and negotiate higher pays (collective $1M+), but most importantly, find clarity in what they truly want to do. This is an investment so you will get exactly what you decide to put into the program.
Can’t I just do this on my own?
