Marketing Assistant
Part-Time/Contractor
I'm hiring a creative, detail-oriented, and reliable part-time Marketing Assistant with 3-5 years of experience to help bring my content and lead-generation strategy to life.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career looking to gain experience and build a portfolio.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for executing a content plan, creating and scheduling content for Instagram and LinkedIn, writing a weekly email, and using LinkedIn to reach out to leads using scripts I’ll provide. I’ll handle the high-level strategy (with your thought partnership). You’ll bring it to life.
Compensation
$25/hour.
10 hours per week to start.
Has the potential to grow to 20 hours per week.
Remote work with occasional in-person (if you’re located in Portland).
Responsibilities
Create and design social media posts for LinkedIn and Instagram.
Write and schedule email newsletters on Kit.
Schedule content using platform tools, Later, or other.
Use LinkedIn and Instagram to connect with leads using a pre-written script and strategy.
Track outreach and pass along qualified leads for me to follow up with.
You’d be a perfect fit if you…
Have 3+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, and social media.
Are comfortable designing posts and emails using Canva, CapCut, and Kit.
Can mimic my tone to write clearly in a personal and professional voice.
Are organized, detail-oriented, and consider yourself a self-starter.
Enjoy experimenting, testing content, and working independently with guidance.
Are responsive and communicate openly about timelines and questions.
Understand content repurposing and how to tailor it to LinkedIn vs. Instagram.
Are familiar with LinkedIn and Instagram business etiquette.
Are based in the US.
