You feel unseen.
We’re halfway through API Heritage Month!
This month, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with hundreds of people.
My voice is gone.
I’ve spoken to teams, led corporate workshops, and talked with 1:1 clients, those in my group coaching community, business networks, and other new connections. And a common theme keeps coming up.
A lot of you feel unseen.
You put in long hours, but it goes unnoticed.
You’ve worked hard but have been passed over for promotions.
You’re unsure how to talk about your achievements and with who.
You keep comparing yourself to others who are getting recognized.
And end up going down a deep spiral of self-doubt and worry.
I’ve been there! Many people I’ve connected with shared that they’ve been conditioned (emotionally, culturally, systemically) to feel safe by staying quiet, assimilating, and blending in.
And as a result, they’ve become invisible.
I’m not sure people know what I do.
I often find myself in the back because it feels more comfortable there.
I want to say something but hold back because I’m worried it’ll seem dumb.
Many of you are ready to put that narrative behind you but unsure how to do it correctly.
I want to talk more about my achievements, but I don’t want to come off as arrogant.
Having a spotlight on me feels awkward, but I know it’s necessary to be noticed.
I want to speak up more but in a way that feels authentic.
Whether it’s surfacing up your work, resume, accomplishments, or industry knowledge, I have something for YOU.
Over the next week, I’ll share insights focused on creating visibility for yourself, helping you feel seen.
I’ll also be announcing an exciting FREE workshop on these topics.
Where you’ll learn frameworks and actionable tools to create visibility for yourself (stay tuned for the juicy details)!
Whether you’re…
Starting at a new company and wanting to ditch your old habits of hiding in the background.
In a job search and want more hiring managers and recruiters to find and SEE you.
Committed to your current gig and ready to show your good work to the right stakeholders.
I’VE GOT YOU.
TRUST me. People want to know what you’re all about. They want to see you. It’s up to you to make that happen. And I’ll guide you on how to do it with less anxiety.
